Gauja Trail 100 K

This route is ideal for trail runners to fully experience the beauty of the Gauja National Park. It starts at the Sigulda New Castle, making a loop around the beautiful trails and even running up the Sigulda bobsleigh track. The trail then continues to Līgatne - another treasure of the Gauja National Park. You can see the sandstone cliffs and deep forest valleys that surround the Gauja River. After the loop in Līgatne, the route leads to Cesis, before climbing and descending a couple of ski slopes near Cesis. The route ends in the heart of Cēsis - at Rozu laukums.
